Expected Performance

The following tables present the approximate signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) obtained on point source objects with the CDK700 equipped with the FLI camera and our standard filter sets. For these calculations, we assumed a seeing of 1", a dark sky (~21 mag/arcsec2), and no dark current. SNRs are calculated for an exposure time of 300 seconds and by using a photometric aperture integrating the entire object flux. (Note that these values have to be confirmed during commissionning).
